Safeguarding app
There is a free Safeguarding app that has been co-developed by the NHS England team and safeguarding forums in the East in recognition of the need for healthcare staff to have a one-place port of call for safeguarding information.
The tool provides an overview of necessary legislation and guidance covering both adult and children’s safeguarding and is available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on Android.
Using the search terms “NHS” and “safeguarding” within the app store on your device (except for Microsoft devices currently) will bring up the option to download the app. The app can also be viewed by clicking on this link for health staff who use desktops rather than remote devices.
