This privacy statement only covers the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System, including the NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board. What information do we collect?
From time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email address) in order to receive or use services on this website. Such services include bulletins, email updates and website feedback.
By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System and its service providers to provide you with the services you select. Any information you provide to Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System will only be used by us, our agents and service providers and will not be disclosed unless we are obliged or permitted to by law to do so.
If you post or send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on www.midandsouthessex.ics.nhs.uk or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on www.midandsouthessex.ics.nhs.uk, we may use whatever information is available to us, about you, to stop such behaviour. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you use the service you have requested, and remove it in the event that the purpose has been met or when you no longer wish to continue your subscription.
The Data Protection Act
Under the Data Protection Act, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. We use leading technologies and encryption software to safeguard your data and keep strict security standards to prevent any unauthorised access to it.
We do not pass on your details to any third party or other government department.
Changes to our policy

Information, that has been held previously by NHS Basildon and Brentwood CCG, NHS Castle Point and Rochford CCG, NHS Mid Essex CCG, NHS Southend CCG, NHS Thurrock CCGs, is transferring to the new Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (MSE ICB) on 1 July 2022. The ICB will become the new data controller. Any questions about the use of data (including patient data) by the new ICB should be directed to MSEICB.DPO@nhs.net
